You have completed your 200-hour training and have been teaching for a while. The 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is where the practice deepens: revisiting the basics with fresh eyes, then going further into asana, pranayama, philosophy and meditation.
The training is taught in Chester, UK, and in India. Dates will be announced soon. You do not need to have trained with Avana Yoga; we welcome all teachers with a 200-hour certificate from a Yoga Alliance registered school.
Core modules
- Fundamentals of basic asanas, and advanced asana
- Anatomy: the individuality of the body, joints and hypermobility, myofascia
- Advanced pranayama, kriyas and the three bandhas
- Philosophy: the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
- Yin Yoga
- Mindfulness and meditation techniques
- Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and sequencing
Accreditation
Avana Yoga is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, and this is a Yoga Alliance registered 300-hour advanced training. Together with a 200-hour training, it counts towards the training requirement for RYT 500, subject to Yoga Alliance’s teaching-hour requirements.
