The 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training is where most teachers begin. Ours is rooted in the classical Hatha tradition and taught through the texts that tradition comes from: the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Hatha Pradipika and the Bhagavad Gita.
The 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training runs over ten weekends in Rhyl, Wales, starting on 23rd January 2027, on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm, with two live philosophy sessions a week (recorded if you miss one). A Chester intake is also planned, with dates coming soon.
What you will study
- Asana: Hatha postures, how Vinyasa links them with the breath, and the art of sequencing
- Pranayama: the role of the breath in classical yoga and how to guide it safely
- Philosophy: the origins of yoga and the classical texts
- Anatomy: the body in asana, and the chakras and subtle body
- Meditation and kriyas
- Teaching methodology, adjustments and alignment
